Anniversary Dating Ideas

One of the most common—and most romantic—anniversary dating ideas is to celebrate it on the place where you and your partner first met or first went out on a date. It is most effective if you compile the songs that remind you of your relationship or the songs that will surely make you walk down memory lane. You and your partner will really feel nostalgic and feel that tingling thrill that you felt on your first date or on your getting-to-know-each-other phase.

If you are a couple living together or if you are already married, what you can do is prepare a breakfast in bed with rose petals scattered on the tray and a bottle of champagne with a bouquet of red roses and of course your anniversary gift. Or take a time off from work or at least leave work early to prepare a candlelit dinner with your special song playing in the background. Before you know it, you will be reliving the memories and good times that you have shared and remember the things that made you fall in love with each other.

If you have the money or if you can take a long vacation, you can plan a romantic weekend getaway. If you already have kids, do not take tem with you. It should just be the two of you. And if possible, turn of all means of communication like mobile phones. You can get special anniversary packages that are offered in many hotels and other accommodations. You can take advantage of these offers to save money. You can have the options of going to a beach house, a hotel which is located in a place where there are many places to see like historical sites, museums, and other cultural sights, or you can also go to the mountains where you can enjoy many amenities such as horseback riding, hiking, and many more.

Just remember three tips that could make an anniversary date a day to remember.

The first thing is give a gift that your partner will never forget. It could be a little project like a scrapbook or a keepsake, or something that your partner really likes. What is important is that it should be unique and could not be considered as just another anniversary gift.

Second is to go to a place where you don’t usually go to. It might be boring, normal, typical, regular, usual or other words that you can use for a so-so date if you go to the same place over and over again or if you don’t try other places outside your town.

And third is to relive the magic of a first date. Like what was already mentioned in the article, you can go to a place where you and your partner first met.

These anniversary dating ideas are not the rules or the standard. You can be more creative and imaginative. Try other dating ideas that you think your partner will surely appreciate. It’s all up to you.

Ways To Spend An Anniversary

Well well, just to share with everyone, the bliss that I’ve been experiencing this entire week… Haha.. Calvin and I are celebrating our 2nd anniversary this today!

Gosh.. 2 years seems to pretty much fly past before we even know it. It has been 1 year since we both embarked on this journey together as a couple and I must say, we both have grown a lot through this relationship. I no longer was that spoilt brat and egoistic woman.. (though Calvin would still say that I still have those characteristics)… and he’s no longer well, the ‘casanova’ I always thought of him to be. LOL~!

The second year anniversary for us to celebrate our love for one another and by doing so, it just serves to remind us the reasons why we decided to get together and commit ourselves in the relationship.

Anyway, we were just brainstorming what we can do to celebrate our anniversary and well, we have come up with some ways to well, spend a special day with your loved one.
