Have You Checked Out Marriage Central?
Marriage Central is a new site that was launched by the National Family Council (in Singapore) and according to the site,
Marriage Central is a one-stop resource point by the National Family Council to promote stronger, healthier and happier relationships.
For non-Singaporean blog readers, you’ll be wondering what is Marriage Central, well, it seems like a new government initiative or community development project to boost marriages and relationship building.
When I first got to know of the site, I thought it was a refreshing initiative in terms of the relationships and family development aspect, especially when it helps boost the importance of marriages and well being in relationships.
For married couples and couples still in courtship, there are a few events and activities that are geared towards boosting creativity in maintaining a relationship and marriage. Building up a community to encourage such interactions and learning, can be useful in the long run, inculcating the importance of certain values such as trust, communication, honesty and so on.
If you’re wondering why I’m supporting such an initiative, well, it’s because I believe in supporting any initiative and cause that’s geared towards helping people have more fulfilling relationships, marriages and lives.
Society often neglects the importance of relationships and familial ties and values because of distractions around us such as economic situations and coming up with a website like Marriage Central is going to draw awareness to this.
So, do check out what this site has to offer and what the National Family Council has planned for the coming month. I do hope that this initiative is not a one-time thing though. If not, I’ll be glad to take over what they are doing and continue in their fashion. (Similar things are being planned for RelationshipsGuru.com by the way.. So do stay tuned!)
In the meantime, dear lovely married couples and dating ones, do check out Marriage Central!
